If you should ask me where I have been all this time, I have to say "Things happen." Neruda

I am many things in life, but my desired identity is that of a poet. I have jotted notes and rhymes on scraps of paper for years and years. I once I went back to a store where I paid with a check that had a poem scribbled on the back. I had them search for it, so I could save the words for some future composition. It was something like "I love to hear the clickity clack of my heels on the street." And like finding a lost child, I was so happy I could save it. I am other things in life, too. I'm a mother, educator, dancer, surviver of a broken heart, breaker of hearts, and supporter of human rights, animal rights, freedom and justice. I want to share my perceptions and continue to listen to the experiences and perceptions of others.
